File Name :: Aero
Author :: OldeCrow Category :: Visual Styles! Description :: I have been sitting on this for several months .. the black style was the template for my Obsidian style and the white style i stoped working on cuz stefanka's longhorn inspired looked very similar and he released it before i finished mine Anyway i got bored and someone expressed an interest in it so i finished it up please report any bugs cuz i tend to get lazy as it gets closer to being done UPDATE 08/16/04 Shortened the startbutton, corrected captionbar maximised gradient other minor tweaks Includes Y'z Toolbar theme and font Added a third style thats more mozilla friendly! Your looks much better than the one you mentioned, Crow, you're look more professional & finished. I'm talking about the silver, eh.
Damn, I had a silver style going on, what the hell happened to it? |

Nice...I'm now currently using that theme...with Aero for DesktopSideBar...and the Longhorn Icons Cubiz made...the 75 package or whatever. Here is a screenie below:
Anyone have anymore suggestions...I want mine to look like an exact clone of Windows Longhorn...how do I change the build type in the bottom corner and stuff...and the longhorn clock I've seen some with? Any info appreciated..thanks. Attached Image (Click thumbnail to expand)

The Aero styles are using Segoe UI 9 for most of the font entries in the style just like longhorn uses the default for luna is Tahoma 8 if you apply the style and then change the font sizes back to 8 in the display properties you should be able to get most of them back where you want then you can save it as a theme and your font sizes will display every time you apply the theme (its a good idea to edit the .theme file in notepad and remove the control panel colors section though, for some reason windows doesnt always save the correct colors there) .. or you can change the font sizes in stylebuilder too if you want .. The reason the font sizes are one size larger in longhorn is because people are commonly useing larger screenmodes today, if your still using 640x480 or 800x600 then the larger font size may be distracting .. and lastly when i get some time in the next couple of weeks ill simply change the fonts in the style so the default font size is 8 and the large font setting will be 9 like longhorn .. |
